Revised Common Lectionary Many Christians - Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Methodists - have chosen to read the same lessons aloud each Sunday to emphasize their sense of being one community united in Jesus Christ as they journey together through the church year. This set of lessons is called the lectionary.
We have the Sunday Lectionary available on the News Page. It's updated every week.

Above is just one of the stained glass windows in the church and you will find different samples on each of our web pages.

Dear Christ Church,
As many of you know, I am Janelle's co-leader for the youth group. My name is Kristine Stanfield, and I have been volunteering here for about 2 years. Along with doing youth ministry here, I am also involved in YWAM. (Youth With A Mission.) If you would take a minute to read this support leader for me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks, and God bless!
Dear Friends,
How are you? I hope that life finds you well, and that you had a good summer. Mine was very busy, but good. I worked at Mackenzie River Pizza all summer waitressing, (which was actually one of my strange fears. I have now conquered it!)
This fall I am again facing one of my fears; staffing the dance school that I was a student in last year. For those of you who don't know or remember, it's a school with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). YWAM has various schools that train people in their own talents and skills to use to serve others. The particular school that I'm staffing is the School of Dance Studies. In this school I'll be teaching dance technique, dance history, musical theater, and all the while disciplining the students in their walk with God and in life. This is a full time commitment, thus leaving no room for a job.
Being a missions base means that we as staff actually pay to be there. (ie... we must pay for our room and board.) I'm writing this to ask if you would think and pray about being a monthly supporter of mine. If you feel that this is something you would like to do, any amount is going to be helpful to me. It's going to cost me $500 a month to live there. At the end of the school we go on an outreach trip to another country for a month so that the students have an opportunity to present their dances and apply what they've learned. On this trip they share and demonstrate God's love with the people. This trip will cost me an additional $1500. If you don't feel that you can commit to being a monthly supporter, a one-time donation is also greatly appreciated.
While I am doing missions work, I am also living out my dream. I am passionate about dance, as well as helping women see themselves as God sees them. Dance can be a "dog eat dog" environment (always being criticized and critical of yourself.) I want to help dancers see how beautiful and powerful their art is.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, and to consider it. If you would like to support me, please send checks to...
